Issu d\u2019un croisement entre une poire nashi chinoise et un nashi japonais, il s\u00e9duit par sa <strong data-start=\"639\" data-end=\"663\">peau rouge \u00e0 orang\u00e9e<\/strong>, presque in\u00e9dite chez les poires asiatiques.<br data-start=\"708\" data-end=\"711\" \/>Chez les Anglo-Saxons, on le surnomme d\u00e9j\u00e0 le <strong data-start=\"757\" data-end=\"769\">\u201cPapple\u201d<\/strong>, contraction de <em data-start=\"786\" data-end=\"792\">pear<\/em> (poire) et <em data-start=\"804\" data-end=\"811\">apple<\/em> (pomme), tant il
